About

Welcome to my druidic-art-tea site – musings by Blodeuyn. Otherwise known as Jocelyn, I am a web developer, artist, video game aficionado, and tea lover. I live in Louisville, KY with my wonderful husband and I’m currently focused on getting my life back together after a second battle with cancer (read about my cancer here).

My beliefs are eclectic and I consider my path as belonging only to my unique self. Indeed, we are all on our own paths, and our truths are ours alone, overlapping the liminal and coalescing around a common human experience. On a more personal side, intuition is important to me and I consider myself a finder. While my spiritual path opened to me as a young child, I had no one to guide me. I am still trying to find my way and struggle to reconcile my spirituality with the scientific – the ways in which the fabric of the universe expresses itself to me are quite confusing!

Art has always been a fundamental part of who I am. Growing up I had several career aspirations: video game programmer, author, artist, and even geologist. Web development allows the perfect union of my creative and logical aspects and I consider myself lucky because I get to do it all – programming, graphic design, and writing. I firmly believe that math is art and can be just as creative and fulfilling as drawing or writing. While I don’t deal with geology in my work, I absolutely love collecting fossils, minerals, and other earthly artifacts.

In 2012 my tea adventure began, starting with tea bags and moving on to loose leaf tea from local stores. Today I enjoy a wide range of tea from vendors all over the world. My all-time favorite teas are Fujian, Yunnan, and Taiwanese blacks.

At the end of the day, at the end of it all, I am but a humble culmination of my wayward life experiences. I am always searching for kindred spirits to walk with during my journey.

I’d love to hear from you, please feel free to contact me.
